Two and a Half Weeks and Counting...

I have a new blog picture.  HUGE thank you to Miss Jaclyn Tekiela for the amazing banner!!!

I leave in 18 days.  That is so weird to think.  I really need to seriously think about the packing thing since I am so terrible at it.  I keep thinking back to when I made the decision to go to England, and it seems like ages ago.  So much has happened since then. 

I only have one more week of work left.  While I am excited to move on, it is also kind of sad.  I have had an amazing time with the people there, and I love the work that we do.  Hopefully all the hard work will be worth it on November 2nd.  You can bet that even from England I will be harassing everyone to go vote that day. :)

Not starting classes with everyone up at ISU is really weird.  I miss you guys so much! Can't wait to come see you next week! 

Also, Skype is such an awesome thing.  Anyone who doesn't have it needs to get it ASAP!  I want to talk to everyone from over there, and that is the best way to do it!

So, this blog really had no point, but I wanted to acknowledge Jaclyn's awesome picture. Thanks again!  I will probably update again right before I leave.  It's getting so close!

First Blog

This is pretty much a test blog to see how this is going to work.  I decided that this would be the best way to update everyone while I'm in Canterbury.  I am still figuring all this out, so any suggestions are encouraged.  Have a better blog name?  Better picture?  Better idea?  Please let me know.  I am open to anything.  I think I will start posting more as I am preparing to leave, so that leaves a few weeks to get the hang of this whole blog thing.  So again, any ideas about what would make this more enjoyable to read would be great. Thanks!
